Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and general anesthesia training. Drs. Schelkun and Dachowski are board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dr. Schelkun is Board Certified by the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. As Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Drs. Schelkun & Dachowski manage a wide variety of problems relating to the jaws and facial region. Drs.Schelkun & Dachowski practice a full scope of Oral Surgery with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal to Corrective / Reconstructive Jaw Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Surgery. They can also diagnose and treat Facial Pain, Facial Injuries, Head and Neck Pathology and TMJ disorders. Dental Implant surgery is performed routinely to replace missing teeth.
Our staff is trained in assisting with intravenous anesthesia and all surgical procedures within our state-of-the-art surgery centers. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. The Warminster and Richboro centers are fully accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at our facilities are registered nurses and experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of intravenous anesthesia and surgery. All surgical staff are BCLS (CPR) certified. Surgeons and registered nurses are ACLS and PALS certified.
